Acne is commonly formed when your pores are clogged with dead skin cells and oil from the skin. The clogged pores then become inflamed and swollen, which can turn into pimples, whiteheads, or blackheads. A worst scenario is an acne outbreak where humidity, all-based makeup, stress and even anxiety, are all part of the gang causing your acne to become worse.

And because an acne outbreak may often cause inflammation deep in the skin, it will damage the dermis layer of the skin and create acne scars when ruptured; these scars can cause permanent damage to the skin if not treated properly.

  • Rolling – A type of depressed acne scar that has a rounded skin, and sloping edges. The texture of this acne scar is usually rough and feels like hole.
